I am selling my 1977 Chevy Crewcab Hydroplane Hauler.I am moving my shop to a smaller location and need to down size my collection. This hauler was built to hull the Golden Princess GP Hydroplane. It has a 22 1/2 ft wheel base and the aluminum diamond bed measures 20 ft. It has a 454 motor with 92 thousand miles.I drove it about 250 miles from where I bought it I think in 2001 and it has sat ever since. The tilt bed works fine. It also has a gas pump for fueling the hydro. Perfect for a 17 to 21 foot hydro.I had a 23ft hydro on it but that has been sold. My 18ft hydro is only 8 ft wide so I really don't need to be tilted. It will need an exhaust system and maybe a tune up as it has been sitting for about 5 or 6 years.I removed the bunks off the tilt bed as they had ratty carpet on them. Easy fix.The windshield also has a crack in it. I but 4 new tires on it when I moved it.I also put a heavy duty trailer hitch on it to pull my Speed Skiff to the shows. The body has rust but this is a common body style and body parts can easily be found.Plenty of storage boxes under the bed.I was told that back in the day the conversion cost to build this was at a cost of $16,000 not including the Truck.Heres the DEAL. As is where is for only $2,500. I have 4 new chrome wheels still in the box and new diamond plate running boards for an extra $500.
