Tri -Power intake.. need carbs..

Hi all!
Just a quick note. First off, I dont own a vintage hydro, but LOVE to watch them! I met Dave Moritz a few years ago, we've become friends, and was fortunate enough to be able to help on the dock at Muscatine this year. I can tell you, it was an unforgettable experience!

I actually have a few classic Correct Craft inboards and am looking to re-power my 1964 American Skier with a 283 Chevy. The motor originally had a 4bbl intake, which I could use, but I also have a marine tri-power intake hanging on the wall, just begging to be used.

The intake is setup with the small bolt pattern Rochester 2bbl arrangement. Im wondering if anyone has, or knows of, original 3x2 marine carbs to work on this? Any ideas at all what could be used? I can find automotive ones, but am concerned about the proper fuel bowl venting, etc. I hear differnt things, but can these be "marinized? General thoughts?.. (am I nuts, etc?)

Any info / help in the right direction is appreciated! Thanks, Steve
