I hit the bridge for a night dive last night. The vis was suprisingly good despite the rain we have had. Not much moving at all. I was really bent on bug hunting but the bugs did not ccoperate. I only found one and he was such a lonely looking fellow with no claws that I left him alone.
I saw an 8" bass and one giant fluke as I started my dive but the gun wasn't loaded.
What is amazing is the number of untouchable blackfish. They were everywhere and there were some absolutely huge ones mixed in with standard large sized ones.
I may blow off the opening of deer season and spend October 1st catching my limit of blacks.
I also found a nice pole and reel. I'll be using that off the dock with the kids today.
