moderators and group leaders will be voting (hopefully weekly) on which member should be recognized for excellence in posting/debating and maintaining civility while doing so..they will be recognized both in the announcements forum and on the front page where the links are listed (I already created a space for this purpose)..members nominate other members in the suggestions and complaints forum in a thread already created and the group leaders and moderators will vote on your nominations here... the winner gets automatic access to the 'expert posters' group..

Id like to nominate marsman for his two posts about the bmp.3 videos
I am somewhat sick when it comes to militaria,
I have a small collection of immages and videos of weapons, I did not have a single video showing troops dismounting the bmp.3
and I looked!
this is very rare.

I'd like to nominate Alexander the Great (the Greek) for excellent poster of the week, his posts are mostly military orientated and always with links and accompanied with excellent photos on the specific subject and to my knowledge he doesn't flame or insult people.
Comrade, Cypriot BMP3s lol

I nominate myself because I don't clutter the board with every military-related topic I see (GCap, I'm looking in your direction...), and some attempts at using logic on my China liberalization thread, a rarity on WAFF.

Aren't we fond of ourselves?
"We will write our own military manuals, which the Americans, British, and French can study in their staff colleges."
-Colonel Behrouz Soleimani, Deputy Commander of the Iranian 21st Infantry Division, following the Liberation of Khorramshahr
"The baseless claim made us laugh. We do not use laptops to keep our classified documents."
-Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi, on American claims that an Iranian laptop they had captured contained evidence that Iran was producing a nuclear warhead

They usually fire off a couple sentences and then forget about it in an hour, which the time it takes the thread to disappear in the barage of new, uninteresting posts. If a thread stays on the front page for a longer time, people have time to read the whole thread and write thoughful responses. You favor quantity, I favor quality, and should I ever become Moderator I will favor the latter with a vengeance.
