let us support the kids foundation event, if it is too expensive, let us get some clients for the sake of the kids who are in need. SUPPORT KIDS FOUNDATION today.
From Diether Ocampo: I would like to share with you the success of our (K.I.D.S. Foundation) latest event, which was a charity dinner in conjunction with the feeding program that we launched in October last year called r.e.d. under nutrition (which simply means “reduce, eliminate and decrease” under nutrition). We were encouraged by the success of our feeding program in one of the poorest barangays in Novaliches, Quezon City, so the charity dinner was put to sustain this wonderful program that will be extended to its second phase to maximize the potential of the program.
We are moving to the next barangay, and we identified one in Camarines Sur having a big number of under-nourished children that would benefit from our r.e.d. under nutrition program. We realized that it is imperative to for us to give proper nourishment to impoverished kids ages two to five because this is the age bracket where 70 percent of physical development and 90 percent of the brain development occur.
I hope this will enlighten most parents. We hope to cover more barangays to reduce, eliminate and decrease under nutrition.
DIET, YOU ARE HEAVEN SENT TO THE POOR CHILDREN. THIS WORLD WONT BE BETTER WITHOUT YOU AND THE KIDS FOUNDATION. WE ALL ADORE YOU AND APPRECIATE YOU FOR THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE KIDS AROUND THE WORLD. YOU ARE A TRUE MAN, CHRISTIAN AND LOVING PERSON THAT I KNOW WHO WANTED TO GIVE MORE TO THE NEEDY. GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU PUTTING THE LESS FORTUNATE IN YOUR AGENDA.MAY GOD CONTINUE TO GIVE YOU MORE STRENGTH AND BLESSINGS, YOU ARE AN INSTRUMENT TO OUR FAITH. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND CONTINUE TO BE LIKE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW. TO US, HERE IN CALIFORNIA YOU ARE THE BEST ACTOR AMONG THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES WHO HAVE RECEIVED AN AWARD.

• From Diether Ocampo:
I am very happy to share with you that we were able to meet the need for more books in public schools with a joint project of K.I.D.S. Foundation and Victoria Court which is also keen on improving the quality of life of the Filipino youth by focusing on education. The turn-over at the Rosauro Elementary School in Tondo was the first stop-over of the 10 that Victoria Court has lined up for this campaign. Atticus King, managing director of Victoria Court, believes that “every page a child reads brings him one step closer to a brighter future.” We are hoping to create higher public awareness to inspire others to support a similar advocacy.
We see the need of chidlren in schools to acquire additional visual tools to bring excitement to disadvantage Filipino children in Day Care Centers / poor preschools in our communities by providing them COLORFUL PUPPETS.
With these, we bring fun learning every day to encourage poor children to pursue schooling in this present stressful economic condition.
To make this possible we need financial resources from organizations, couples or individuals enable us to sponsor for the production of colorful puppets and to provide teachers a workshop how to integrated puppet to their lessons.
In this light, we sustain the interest of these children to learn more as they move on in life.
The history told us about King David who started to change Israels history from a one small piece of stone that kill an oppressive giant. We may hold a small piece of cloth in our gracious hands, created to convey incorruptible seeds of values and learning to aid children to face life with courage.
If you are thinking one year ahead, sow seeds.
If you are thinking 10 years ahead, plant a tree.
If you are thinking 100 years ahead, educate the people
.
It takes a generation to change a nation with you we can begin today.

MANILA, Philippines—Diether “Diet” Ocampo’s K.I.D.S. Foundation traveled to Camarines Sur on April 14, to launch its feeding program, “Project RED Undernutrition” in three barangays, including San Jose and Tinangis.
Diet related that RED (reduce, eliminate and decrease) Undernutrition earlier identified the Bicol region as a “priority” among several poverty-stricken areas in the country on account of sheer number—7,000 malnourished children at the latest count.
The program’s feeding cycle lasts 60 days, Diet explained. “So it ends in June, but we hope to return for the second cycle.”
Due to limited funds, Diet said he felt sad that his group covered only three barangays, out of more than 50 that should benefit from the program. “We hope to raise more funds for our next visit,” he said.
Beneficiaries are given what is called Vitameal, which consists of rice and lentils, fortified with 25 essential nutrients.
According to the organization’s website (www.kidsfoundation.org.ph), the program, which focuses on underweight children ages 4 to 8, was launched in October last year in Barangay San Agustin in Novaliches, Quezon City.
