Diether dismisses death threat, confirms breakup with Kristine

Actor Diether Ocampo said he's not worried about a death threat issued against him by a still unidentified person. He told ABS-CBN's "The Buzz" on Sunday that he has no enemies and did nothing wrong.
"May tumawag kasi sa bahay ng mom ko. Ang nakasagot yung kasama niya sa bahay. [May death threat pero] hindi ko sineseryoso. Wala akong kaaway, wala akong ginagawang masama. Naapektuhan talaga pamilya ko, especially my mom," the actor said.
Diether also denied a rumor that he wrecked someone's car in a jealous rage--supposedly over actress and longtime on-and-off girlfried Kristine Hermosa.
In fact, Diether finally went all the way and admitted that he and Kristine are no longer lovers. After more than a year of speculation in the entertainment press, the actor finally came clean on "The Buzz" about his relationship with Kristine.
"We're not together anymore. Hindi kami nagkabalikan. At this point masasabi ko na medyo mahirap... we're moving on. Magiging mabuting magkaibigan muna kami," he said.
Diether also recalled that he asked Kristine once and for all about what to do with their love affair.
"As far as i can remember, I asked her one time, 'are you willing to work this out?' I'm willing to give it [my] all," he said.
He also remembers the answer Kristine gave him, "I'm not ready."
Diether explained that both he and Kristine sill have issues to deal with individually, and that they could never have a proper relationship unless they resolve their personal problems first.
He admitted however that he couldn't help but hope against hope during a fashion shoot he did in Boracay recently with Kristine.
"That one medyo okay na kami nun. We really had fun [when] we had a fashion shoot. Well, I was, di ko maitatanggi na sumagi sa isip ko na umasa," he said.
(We were really okay together at the fashion shoot. To be honest, I really couldn't help but hope in my mind that we could get back together someday.)
Recalling the challenges he and Kristine faced in the past few years, however, made the actor admit that it's still not the right time for romance.
"Siguro nga it's about time na bigyan ko muna ng panahon ang sarili ko," he said.

Alam naman natin sa showbiz na lahat ng kilos ng mga artista napapansin kahit na ang pagsakay sa LRT gagawan ng isyu na kesyo naghihirap na raw. We know that many married showbiz couples got separated because of the issue of money and we don't want that it will also happen to Tin & Diet once they decided to build a family. Of course, we want them the model couple in showbiz because of the kind of married life that they'll have. They can raise a good Christian family if they're financially stable kaya huwag nating madaliin ang reconciliation nila.
shania, diet & tin are financially & emotionally stable individuals already. they have long been living comfortably and they have been enjoying the fruits of their labor for many years already up until today (just fyi,okay?). if you don't know them personally then i think, the best thing that you can do is to keep quiet & avoid speculating. money is not an issue in diet & tin's relationship because as i said, both are already finacially stable. well, the couple did mention already in their past interviews that their problem has something to do with the descrepancy in the required documents (which is always a common problem here in the philippines) that they have submitted when they got married. their lawyers are taking care of it and i am pretty sure, that diet & tin don't need our opinions in that aspect. i guess, you are also aware that those things are not for public consumption simply because it is something personal & confidential, okay?

Let me correct your infos that Diet & Tin weren't living as a married couple for four years because in Diet's & Tin's previous interviews in 2006, they had been reiterating that they were not living as a married couple under one roof because there were discrepancies in the required documents of their "supposed marriage", 'yung absence of a marriage license. It only shows that they're decent people because they really want to make things right before they can do the things that a married couple should do w/c includes having children and building a family.
