Sid Lucero is excited about his role in the much anticipated primetime teleserye Dahil May Isang Ikaw. The indie film regular was in the ABS-CBN.com chat room last August 10 to promote his latest TV project. In an interview right after the chat, Sid told ABS-CBN.com that he regards Dahil May Isang Ikaw as the grandest teleserye he has made so far. Ive never worked on a project that was so taken cared of like what they did for this teleserye. To be made part of this grand project means that producers really appreciate me. I tend to also feel insecure with my job kasi. Its when I get entrusted with good project when I am kind of reminded that, You know youre good! Parang ganun.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw features a powerhouse cast led by Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Concepcion, Jericho Rosales, Kristine Hermosa, John Estrada, and Chin Chin Gutierrez. Although he is hailed as one of the best young actors of this time, Sid still felt the pressure of starring alongside the likes of Lorna and Gabby. This is the first time that Im going to work with these great actors. Dati napapanood ko lang sila thats why now Im so excited that I will be working with them. Aakalain mo na napakataas nila pero sa taping makikita mo na theyre just like you and me. They like having fun. They have the same sentiments as yours. The pressure to give an excellent performance is definitely there but its not destructive. Its a challenge for you to give a better performance and thats good for the show.
In this teleserye, Sid will play the man who will fall madly in love with Kristine. The actor confessed to ABS-CBN.com that he has a special admiration for Kristine. Undoubtedly shes one of the most beautiful and most talented actresses Ive worked with. I enjoy working with her. Dati I thought she was a snob but the truth is shes very accommodating.
Sid admitted that he would often find it hard to concentrate on his acting whenever he would do a scene with Kristine. Honestly shes very distracting to work with, ha ha ha! I have a hard time concentrating when I look at her. My character is supposedly madly in love with her, and Ill tell you falling in love with her was the easy part. It was getting the job done thats hard. I tend to forget my lines when I face her. I sometimes lose focus. Hindi ko talaga alam ang gagawin. Nagkakalat ako when Im with her.
The 25-year-old son of Mark Gil currently stars in Your Song Presents Gaano Kita Kamahal where he is partnered with pretty new actress Maricar Reyes. Sid and Maricar have been friends for a long time now thats why the two became very comfortable doing the Your Song series. Thats why in Dahil May Isang Ikaw, Sid is trying to establish a rapport with Kristine so they will have an easier time doing their scenes. Kristine is sometimes quiet. Theres this mystery in her that I am intrigued to find out more about her. Im beginning to also feel comfortable with Kristine. What I do is to try to make my situations with her a little bit light. I would try to crack a joke and kapag natawa siya magiging kumportable na kami sa isat isa. I just try to concentrate as much as I can and try to remember my lines.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw reunites Kristine with Jericho and Sid has no problems being cast as part of a love triangle, nor is he out to compete with anyones acting. I will just do my job the best I can. I will not try to outshine anyone. My goal for my character is to add spice to the story of Jericho and Kristine. The thing about acting is its only going to work if you know how to give and take. Its all about sharing. You have to be generous so that your co-actor can react properly and in return you can also react properly. Thats exactly what I experience when I do scenes with Echo because hes so generous that you are motivated to give the right reaction. Hopefully he also feels the same way. Pero the wrong thing to do is to compete.

beauty.. her eyes.. so clear and expressive over all pang hollywood mas maganda pa sa hollywood stars...
i do not know why? she is not being discovered yet.. in
hollywood Kristine should have join the Ms. Universe..
etc.. beauty contest... panalo.
Kristine may be quite because she is a shy person..

she is really beautiful kung sa ganda lang ang paguusapan pero brains i doubt kasi maski sa mga interview sa tv ay di maayos sumagot sa beauty pageant pa kaya??????????????????
Of course Tin has brains.If she's not brainy, she could not have passed the entrance test in UP. She may not be articulate in speaking but it can be developed if she's surrounded with people who are vocal in their opinions. She has learned so much in life in general which she can use in aswering questions. Another thing,she's brainy because she can identify what are morally right and wrong and because she can identify what are morally right,she has the guts to stand for it. SHE WILL NOT COMPROMISE HER VALUES FOR THE SAKE OF MONEY AND FAME AND THAT'S AN IMPORTANT THING THAT A BEAUTY TITLIST SHOULD DO. A PERSON WHO CAN BE A ROLE MODEL OF FILIPINO WOMEN.
Hoy, Neena kamukha mo siguro si Aruray o kaya si Menggay kaya ka inggit na inggit ka sa beauty ni Tin. My advise is magpunta ka siguro kay Belo or Calayan para naman gumanda ka.

bukod sa pagpasa ni kristine ng entrance exam sa UP, sinabi rin ni ms. dina bonnevie na gusto niya si kristine dahil beauty & brains ito bukod sa mabait pa. si ms. dina pa e napakafrank ng babaeng yon. higit sa lahat di magtatagal si kristine ng 14yrs sa showbiz kung di siya matalino dahil sabi ni direk jose javier reyes e ang profession na pag-aartista ay para sa mga matatalino kasi paano mo iplay yong role at intindihin yong script kung wala kang utak? pagnagkataon na ordinary lang na dalaga yang si kristine e baka ilampaso ka niyan neena sa galing at talino.

Like I said to each her own. My point is praise Tin for her acting ability not just because maganda siya, its so shallow at so cheap to read. Lyn you are missing the point. Pinoy nga naman quick to defend without reading t and understanding kaya ang Pinas ganyan pa rin because of old habits and beliefs that pinoys refuse to let go. Masyado kayong war freak. Iyan lang yatang tinawag mong masama ang ugali na di nagmumura.Iyan lang ang taong tinatawag mong may masamang ugali nwho doesn't badmouth other people that's why, ingat siya sa kanyang mga salita. So again Sara, how would you answer the same questions that were asked to Kristine? Can you answer them better than her? If you are just fair to her, you will notice that others like Johh Lloyd, Jericho or even Abby, the ex-girlfriend of Paolo Bediones also answered the same thing with that of Kristine's, na di sila nagsasara ng pintuan sa mga taong nakahiwalayan nila kasi di nila hawak ang future.
It only shows that Kristine is the one who set the trend of saying that she's not closing her doors to anyone when it comes to relationships.She has a lot of sense because her answers are based on God's teachings She has been saying this many times in her past interviews that only God can design our future.
Basta ako 30 yrs na dito sa States, dito sa entertainment capital of the world, where you can meet and greet the most beautiful and the richest people in the world, pero wala pa akong nakitang kasing ganda ni Tin, kailangan ko pang manood sa TFC para makakita ng katulad niya. Pang Miss Universe ang beauty niya, kaya ina-admire siya all over the world hindi lang sa Pinas, but also all over Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa, North America at kung saan-saan pa. Sa ganda niya, hindi na kailangan pang sumali sa beauty contests, wagi na siya. Siguro kung iba pa yon, nag-capitalize na sa beauty nila, nagpa-seksi na o nagpa-kabit na sa mga mayayaman diyan just to maintain their lifestyle, but not Tin, she choose to work, help her family, be busy at school and at her church.
