Alright... If you sent out the rest of the bodies that didnt have custom parts on the 20th of july... and they were sent priority post, why don't I have mine? Doc if there is anyway you could track the order for me it'd be great because I'm worried about what might have happened to it since the post office said priority from alaska should be 3-5 days...

I placed my order back on 7/12, an I believe <hoping actually> that I am one of the three who still needed custom parts. I have no idea if I am actually one of those ones... I havent heard from Doc in a while , I sent an email to him but have no reply yet... Back to the topic, I would think Doc would of sent you a conformation an a tracking number to go along with the email.. if you havent seen an email saying it was shipped then perhaps doc either never recieved your order or just had ran out of a paticular part that needed to be sent... He doesnt often check these boards often due to the fact this man is pretty busy, an Emailng seems near impossible since he usually has to go through a few hundred emails, which he doesnt have much time to do everyday or else this man wouldnt be able to get anything done at his place of buisness... I do hope he will manage to take a look on the boards and answer as many questions concerning about orders and such...

Doc will come through, He`s making a custom eye covers, white delrin bolts,and lightening hammers (all the custom stuff that company don`t even OFFER ...on top of that he has a shop to run with little pukes coming in and making him stop work to answer ?`s, he has tourneys that he brings products to, stuff like that. I`ve said it before DOC is not DYE\SP\BOB LONG\ ETC...He doesn`t have ( insert ethnic background here) running around a warehouse filling orders, I`m sure he makes a small batch, massaging each and every piece till it meets his standards, not produced in a third world country for a company then shipped back to the good`ol U.S.A. for stockpile in a warehouse till some little punk who conned Daddy out of his Visa to spend 2K on some " I gotta have package" and spends extra for overnite shipping............damn, I gotta quit drinking, na fugit!!

Anything from Doc is custom, he doesn`t stockpile anything.

Funny, he told me he had bodies in stock before I ordered in late May (also). I haven't heard from him since I paid. That may be normal, but it is just rude. I realize that a one man shop may take a while, but a stock email message letting people know that teir order has been received would be easy, whether you are Dye, Smart Parts, or Doc.

As for the years of excellent work and wonderful reputation: it would be a shame to squander something built so lovingly, over so much time.

I believe he works hard, but industriousness can be misdirected, and one virtue doesn't necessarily excuse an unrelated offense.

If I ever receive the body I ordered, I will be sure to talk about how much I like it. I will also talk about how I was treated (ignored) as a customer. Quality is one thing, customer service is something seperate.

Did you order anything with your body kit?? A white bolt or eye cover?? Titainium pump rod?? I know he was out of stock or in the middle of producing more, The hold up on mine has been the white bolt and custom eye cover..

I (think I) ordered two seperate orders: order one, prepaid via Paypal, should have just been a (standard) Fastback body; while order two, COD, would have included a snatch tab and eye cover. That is what I wrote in the email I sent the day I sent money. Did Doc ever get the order? The money? Who knows. I have written since, just asking whether the money arrived, whether the order was received, or what, but I wasn't answered.

I can wait. I was reasured by other people on the Tinker's Guild and PBNation that Doc would get to it (in his own time), but I don't even know if he got the order. I know that I disbursed a substantial amount of money. Maybe Doc got it, maybe not. Maybe he received the money but not the email, and wonders what it is for. I sent info on the Paypal transaction, but haven't heard anything.

I am not that hard to make happy. "Yes, David, I got the order, there was some confusion, you will get that body someday, your money didn't disappear into the ether," would be acceptable, if not the best news.

If the bodies are in stock and need NO custom work do they usually come fast?

I have heard of people getting them in a week, I have not gotten mine (or heard from Doc) since late May.

Maybe I was unclear: yes, I ordered a stock, standard, no custom work, type of Fastback cocker body.

As tempting as it may be to cancle your order I would suggest waiting for it. I got mine and I have to say that it ROCKS!!! It would have been worth just about any wait.

Now I wait for the eblade2 to add to this bad boy.

hey i was wondering if you get the break beam eye do i need to drill new hols on both side or jsut leav the sid ei haev the e1 and drill the new one on the other side
