I'm still waiting for a silver anodized fastback kit along with a polished snatch grip. I made my payment through Paypal on Aug. 10, 2004. I'm not too sure when I emailed Doc, but it was probably around 3 weeks before. I also sent an email telling him I am still waiting but have never heard back.

I'm also waiting for my red and black fastback ordered on august 17th. I send many mail to Dock and no response. Is everybody get there fastback sent via GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL? My friends tells me it could take a long time before receiving your fastback via Global priority mail, from 3 weeks up to 7 months.

Waiting since 5-25-04

October 6 2004, 2:05 AM

... for an unanodized, polished Fastback body. I had requested to have it drilled and tapped for eBlade sensor. Now (as of a month or so back) I do not want it drilled or tapped at all. I paid in advance, via Paypal, for this order. I also ordered a snatch tab and eBlade eye cover, to be paid for COD. I requested one of Doc's flat front-block bolts, a bit later, to be included in the second order. Both these orders were originally posted on May 25.

I have never received any answers back from Doc since my original order was placed. I have pretty much assumed that I have been ripped off, whether by mistake or intentionally.

Good luck to the rest of you.

i got my fastback a week later and also doc would not rip u off on perpose he has just been over whelmed for the last 4months he is the only one that works at his shop hae works on guns and checks emails and alsorts of shti he has just been really overwhelmed latley! i say email him and write it in the subject! other whise he deletes it or he could be waiting on his next shipment! trust me here they r well worth it i'm never using a old full block cocker again!

yeah, I have always done that

October 13 2004, 8:01 PM

...leave information in the subject line, that is.

In fact, a bit ago, Doc requested that a new email be sent with specific instructions regarding the subject line, indicating what to write so he couls sort the email and see who has been waiting. I followed those instructions, received no reply, received no product...

It has been long enough that I am past any real anger, but in my view, without any replies or product sent, while my money has been sent, intentions are sorta moot. I sincerely hope Doc gets his business sorted out. I doubt really that he intends any dishonesty, but the difference between failure and malice is not that great, so far.

I actually got an email.

October 20 2004, 2:53 AM

Apparently, I am on "3 lists," whatever that means. I hope none of them are "People who need to be kept waiting until despair kicks in" lists, but I was happy to get some sort of message, however vague.

I never got a reply to either of my emails. How long did you have to wait to hear from him?

I am not sure...

October 21 2004, 2:36 AM

... I think it was a week or two from when I sent the last email, but I may be off with that. I have been trying for a long time, but this last attempt to contact them was in response to Doc asking on the Tinker's forum for a new email from those still waiting, with a subject line that clearly indicated that you were "still waiting." I sent an email, received a notice that it didn't go through, resent it, and got the response a bit later.

Haven't got the body yet, but I feel like they at least mean to make things right, eventually.

Try this

October 21 2004, 5:32 PM

I wrote to doc@docsmachine.com, but I recommend cc'ing ordering@docsmachine.com. That is the reply-to address that I got when "Speedy Joe" wrote back. This is the person who is volunteering to help dig Doc out from under the email mountain. Be sure to put "still waiting" or similar in the subject line.

I feel sorta lucky... like I spotted Bigfoot, after he has been stealing my lunch for a few months.

Good luck, Q. I think they are figuring out how to get on their feet up there.
