In other words, are more Fastbacks on the way? I'm considering buying one but a lot of people have said he's been out of stock for awhile and their has been a long long wait...

Also, I've emailed him (no response) about a certain fade. Do you guys know if a red to chrome or red to polished fade is available? Meaning would he be able to do this on request?

Spend your money elsewhere, A lot of us have already paid for our fastbacks and haven't received them, we now do not expect to see them period.

to order one right now. As for custom ano, that would multiple your waiting time (currently one week to who knows how many years) by an unknown factor.

I've been waiting since last May, if waiting is still the appropriate term. I have mostly written this off as a case of me getting ripped off by someone who had a sterling rep, at one time, for some reason.

I paid through Paypal (for the things that were in stock) as soon as he told me what was in stock. I ordered some other things COD. Haven't gotten any of it. I never got a comfirmation email from Doc. I did get an email from someone who was helping him that asked me to be patient a little bit longer. This email told me that I was "on a list" of some sort. I don't know if it was a list of people who have been waiting for a long time, a list of people who were dumb enough to pay up front, a list of people whose order information was lost or impossible to confirm, or a list of people they wish didn't exist. The part about being patient a little bit longer had my hopes up, briefly.

Understand: I am not looking to trash anyone's reputation. I hear that some people have gotten quick turn arounds on their orders. I don't like bringing it up, but since you ask, the situation with ordering from Doc's Machine is sort of risky, in my experience. For example, I paid for a Fastback body that was supposed to be in stock but never received it. I know I am not alone in this. I also have heard that some people got their Fastback bodies (either after a long wait or right away). I hope that Doc Nickel gets his business sorted out. He hasn't quite done so yet.
