2 days after my labia reduction and to be honest it looks like there's nothing left. the clitoris looks pronounced and then below that the skin just goes right in!! i imagine the clitoris and hood is swollen therefore exagerating the appearance but i'm hoping someone has had a similar start to their recovery who maybe able to put my mind at rest...?

Hi I am the person you asked in another thread about this ( I think )
I had this done over a year ago asking th Dr. to take as much as possible off.

Right now your swollen and nervous, its hard but try not to be. I am sure you'll be ok. How did they do the surgury? The pie tech. or just cut off the skin and stitch it up? If you don't mind me asking.

You have to adjust to your new look, it takes time. With smaller labia, the clit & hood is a bit more noticable. Expecially if it was covered like mine where. I was happy to see it.

The swelling will go down and things will settle down, just give it some time.

I know several women that had their labia removed completely...I mean, there was no skin there at all anymore, so it sounds normal. Although the one girl had her labia grow back, a side effect of certain surgeries.

I also know a woman in her late 30's who had her labia totaly removed and some of her hood also. she has only a slit now. When healing she was worried about whether too much was taken but she is now very pleased with it. She can now wear very revealing swimwear and looks nice.

Too much taken off

I replied in the other part of the forum - but are you happy with it now??

I had the same thing done years ago and both sides were removed totally and there was scarring at the top by my clit so tight clothes rub and hurt it. I regret it to this day.

Wow. I am having the same problem right now. I had the surgery a few weeks ago, and the doctor cut so much off. I only wanted the hanging part of my labia to be removed. I wanted a labia reduction, which is not what I got. It seems like the doctor REMOVED my labia. I have been healing okay, but there is so much sensitivity at the top around the clit. I can't put my legs together comfortably or cross my legs. I'm really nervous that maybe the clit and the area around the clit is too exposed now since there is pretty much no labia covering it like before.
I would love for someone's opinion. I mean, it HAS only been a few weeks. How long does it take before you can cross your legs and not feel any sensitivity? I have read on here that all the pain and discomfort should be gone by two weeks, so that's why I'm worried. Is that true?

Help.
Thank you.

Hope things settle down for your sake - mine never did to this day - they took the whole lot off too - hence the pain around the clit area due to scarring and I look butchered as well.
