Hi, I just wanted to know if all of you ladies who have had the surgery would mind chipping in on your experience before and during surgery? I want to know mostly if you needed any drug test before the surgery, how the anesthesia is applied and if you felt any pain during the surgery or anything else you can think about your experience. thank you all in advance!

I had the procedure done 2 weeks ago. They didn't need to do a drug test for me. I was put under IV sedation and the only part of the surgery that hurt was when they put the IV needle in. I was knocked out before the ps even came into the OR. He numbed the area for me so I had time to go home and eat and take my meds before the pain kicked in. It hurt the first couple times to pee but just be sure to rinse yourself and let it airdry. Try not to look at it for the first couple days and do not touch it. One thing that really helps with the pain and swelling is doing sitz baths everyday for 5-10 mins.Ice also helps with the pain and swelling. A donut pillow helps for sitting. The pain went away after a week post op and I was able to sit normally again. Let me know if you have any further questions.
