Ok so the world trade center was terrorised, destroyed by the iraqs and Bush sent our troops to war to find these people and destroy their country, just like they destroyed something very important to us.
We have sent billions of dollars to iraq to rebuild what we blew up!!! Why blow it up if all your going to do is rebuild it!! The point is what?
We here in America are suffering to keep people working and most importantly, struggling to keep our schools afloat, why couldn't bush put those billions of dollars back into our school systems, and let Iraq rebuild their own ****!
Obviously, our education isn't as important as everyone says it is, or we wouldn't be worried if our children will be able to go to school the following year, because the sates don't have enough funds to keep them going strong.

President George W. Bush has Quadrupled the Budget for the US Department of Education.
In other words, President George W. Bush's Budget is Providing over FOUR TIMES the Amount of Money to the Department of Education, than the Clinton Admnistration ever did.
Did you know that the Average Public School Superintendent's Salary in the USA is far Higher than the President of the USA recieves??

jobless rates are down

jobless rates are down.
What do you call a person who works a full time minimum wage job with no benefits, after loosing a good paying job with health care?
GAINFULLY EMPLOYED!!!
we have a surplus of low paying jobs with no benefits.
these workers can not afford health care and there is no national health benefit.
Once a person has exhausted their unemployment, they are no longer counted in the unemployment count.

Well, minimum wage is NOT meant to live on for a family or anything else. It is a starting point. You are not meant to stay there & whine why you are not making more money or don't have health benefits.
I got sober at 29 yrs old & re started my employment history at $5/hr. After a lot of hard work, a lot of time at home studing my chosen profession, AutoCAD drafting, I now make $25/hr. I did not feed at the social money trough either, welfare or any of that crap. I basically spent all my off hours or times of unemployment studying not screwing off and whining & complaining.
Minimum wage or any of those menial jobs are not meant to live off of. They are a STARTING point. You apply yourself, work hard & look for employment hard and you also can succeed.

Numbers don't mean everything
November 14 2007, 10:29 PM
GWB may have put four times more money into schools, but specific numbers like this are meaningless without someone to say well, the percentage of people who with a high school diploma are going down, there are states and counties with appauling graduation rates, the feds may be putting more money in, but less money overall. Sometimes liberals don't see the forest for the trees, and sometimes it's the conservatives, and I think in this case, it is most defenitelito the laterisimo. Peace...
