I can't imagine how anyone would vote for Obama after watching the Saddleback Civil Forum tonight. Barak Obama stuttered through most of his answers and took as long as he could to answer so that he would have time for fewer tough questions. When asked to name 3 people that he would rely on for advice during his administration he first said his grandmother. God help us if we ever have a president that runs to granny for advice about our national security. When asked if he approved of gay marriage he said no and he defined marriage as being "one man with one woman." Then he went on to say that he is for "Civil Unions" which is another term used for GAY MARRIAGE. He says that he is against abortion but thinks that it should always be the woman's choice. Then went on to put smoke in front of that answer by stuttering some nonsense about how we must educate females and provide the resources to them that would allow them to practice sex without getting pregnant. When asked to name one incident where he went against his party on an issue because he knew that it was right he could only name one that he worked with McCain to limit campaign funding. He did not go against his party on that one really and he didn't join republicans on that either. In this election so far Obama has received more funding that McCain has by the way.
Everything the man says is bogus. He does not have any policies because he will simply say what the audience in front of him wants to hear or what the latest polls think that he needs to say. This man is obviously not qaulified to be the commander and chief for the Greatest Nation in the World and it is a shame the the deomcratic party has allowed him to become the face of their political party. He claims that he does not want race to be an issue in this election yet he steadily makes remarks about his race simply hoping that black American's will be ignorant enough to vote for him simply because he is black. I have more faith in black Americans than that and I pray that most of black American's will vote for the right candidate. Honestly, can you imagine a fake christian (muslum) President who does not say the pledge of allegiance or salute the U.S. flag, can't make up his mind on any of the issues that America finds important, would ask Granny for advice on how to run the country, and whose biggest "christian" influence was his pastor who is an obvious racist. This nation will surely fall apart and we will fall into worse times that those of the Depression if Barrak Hussein Obama is elected President.
Was anyone besides me apalled at Obama's performance?Where was the great orator Saturday? Still on vacation in Hawaii? Needless to say,John McCain creamed him.McCain's answeres were right out front,without the esoteric nonsense Obama gave.The POTUS is more than an esoteric exercise by an "intellectual". We need a PRESIDENT,not a philosopher!
Ok so to begin with what is wrong with Obama going to his "Granny"?There are several reason why this acceptable.
A) She has a different perspective and may see something wrong with a situation that Obama wouldn't simply because he is the president.
B) She has lived longer and believe it or not i bet she has quite a bit of common sense and by this age has learned to think things through and look at both sides of the argument.
However i agree that for certain matters it would be inappropriate to ask her simply because she isn't part of our government.
Gay Marriage~ Obama defined marriage as "One man with one woman". This definition came from the bible. The bible is where this term originated and there for if the term "Gay Marriage" is used it is used in correctly because marriage is limited to man and woman. So while it is possible in some states for a man to marry a man it can not be accurately be called marriage.
Again the words are being twisted,Obama said he does not approve of gay marriage not that he is against it.
Obama says he is against abortion but that its the woman's choice. Exactly, this is a free country therefore it is the woman's choice and however much he is against, it it is not within his rights to say you can't do that.
Why would Obama disagree with his own party before the election? He needs the votes to be president and it would be silly of anyone in his position to publicly disagree with their party during an election unless he had the means to change their minds.
As for not saying the Pledge of Allegiance...
America-A free country.
Being American is being free.
By not saying the Pledge of Allegiance you are exercising your right of freedom and therefore being just as American as someone who is saying the pledge.
America is worth fighting for at home and abroad. Our successful future rests on ELECTING MC CAIN. Everyone needs to vote. We must not let ACORN steal the election. We need a fair and honest election, if we have that MC CAIN WILL be elected! Everyone must vote. VOTE for MC CAIN!
This forum and response to Joe the Plumber really tell us what Barack H. Obama is all about. Without the teleprompter he is not such a great speaker. He needs the pre-written speeches to make his case palatable for anyone but a leftist, WAKE UP AMERICA! Do you really think this man is not going to raise your taxes, do you really think he supports gun ownership, do you really think he is capable of being our president and dealing with other world leaders, do you really think if we pull out of Iraq the Middle East and Israel will remain safe/ somewhat stable, THINK AMERICA!!!!- Barack H.
