Hi Toby and everyone else that posts here.. This is my first time to post here but I visit this board quiet a bit.. This board is very informative.. I'm friends with Sandra, Bear, Cindy, Jerri and Bill Asmussen that posts here..Some of ya'll might have recognized my old nickname (kedema) on other boards. But I go by Kelly now...
I have a few suggestions for anybody that is looking for John Green's Sasquatch the Apes Among Us is go to www.barnesandnobles.com and set up an account and do a wish list.. They do have his other books and they are pricey.. You can also go to www.half.com and do the same thing.. Last spring I did a search at both places and barnes & nobles had the book in their out of print section but it was expensive.. I decided to wait and give half.com a try and put myself on the wish list.. To my surprise a month later I got an email from half.com telling me that one came available so I jumped on it.. It said it was a paperback and it was like $11.80 which included the shipping.. Well when I got it in the mail I noticed that the package was heavy and I opened it up and it was a hard bound book with a cover in very good condition and what really surprised me was when i opened it up and turned a couple of pages I saw that it was autographed.. Talk about luck.. The book came from someone in Florida.. If only that person knew that he/she could've made more money. You can also keep your ears open for your local library or any library close by that gives bookfairs. They sell books cheap to get rid of them for newer books and space.. Also down here in Texas one of the school districts has a book fair each year to help raise money for the schools there are tons of different kinds of books. So you might want to check into that to see if any school districts in your area does this.. Last year before I got my book I looked at the book fair and they didn't have any kind of bigfoot books.. So maybe this year I might get lucky again.. Hey you never know! If i can be lucky to get it I'm sure someone else can too..
Well anyway wanted to give some suggestions. I know this is one of the most sought after book for us researchers or people that is just interested in the subject of Bigfoot.. George I want to thank you for letting me post on your board.. Take care all and good luck to you Toby and anyone else that is searching for this book..
