It's a very descriptive story, gotta admit it has good detail.
Who's to say if it's the truth, a semi-truth, or pure fiction, 1924 isn't 2002.
Today's BF aren't the same BF of the 1920's... perhaps they hadn't encountered the "modern man" as often as they do these days and were curious and didn't know to be leary of us, a?
We've evolved some (I think) and adapted to change based on the environment around us, and I imagine, the BF have as well.
It's unlikely BF would pull a stunt like that again, not with machine gun packin', pepper spray happy CAMPERS like ourselves.. LOL!
Either way, it's a great story.
At least the dude didn't add to the end of his story... that little green men used phasers on the BF, then beamed him outta the canyon onto this "mother ship" and returned him back to civilization but not before turning him into a pumpkin at midnight... then I think we would've had a harder time buying his story.
Right?
