Maybe this has been discussed in the past, but anyway, here it is again.
There are many stories about captures involving the sasquatch. Either a human male or female being captured and used as a sexual partner. Or again a female sasquatch being captured and used as a sexual partner by male tribesmen. No matter what the story is, it often leads to babies, hybrids having both human and sasquatch genetic characteristics.
It is also said by many that the sasquatch is a great ape, rather than an hominid.
If that is the case, I am curious to see if such hybrids were ever produced with other great apes, such as gorillas or chimpanzees. I am certain, as disgusting as it sounds, that there was sexual intercourse between them and humans in the past. Were there ever stories of hybrids being born?
Was there even stories of different ape species having hybrid babies together? Chimps and orang-utangs maybe? Chimps and bonobos?
The answers to these questions might help me understand how genetically close to humans the sasquatch really is.
