I was not there, so it is difficult to pass judgement upon the photos. I think there are interesting patterns in some, but it is hard to draw firm conclusions. I think having a whole video instead of a capture would go along way to helping folks decide what is going on...you get sound, motion and a record of the person's reaction as the event is filmed. Dallas, I am not sure if you are using autofocus, but you might try turning that feature off if you can. Usually autofocus will pick up the closest object and adjust to that, or it picks up objects at various distances changing focus in and out as it senses them, which really does not work well in a forested environment.
Again, I have a hard time judging the veracity of a picture unless I was there, or it is so clear that it is either a hoax or the picture we all seek and hope for. I can say that there is a great deal of historical and contemporary activity in and about where Dallas is located, I am pretty cofident that he does search in a likely area.
