We're out in the field at least once a week, usually on a weekend day, initial ETA is 3:30pm and eventual ETD is about 1:30am. Depending on the season, that usually gives us enough daylight hours to peruse for significant physical evidence, and then settle into a zone for the evening listening and formulating recon strategies. A few of the members who live close by may put in a few extra hours on other days depending on recent BF activity and/or trash dumping along the perimeter roads. It is a pretty timely hobby for most serious researchers, especially those with spouses and kids. You've got to put together a feasible reason for spending that much time away from them, and appreciate their eventual understanding and sacrifices. But we all know that it is really worth it, an inexplicable opportunity for a lifetime! Take it easy and talk to you all later.
