So to speak if you're into the "God" thing, I prefer to choose Mother Earth, and lets not forget the services of the smoke jumpers! They do a spectacularly thankless job to maintain the wilderness we take for granted during the dry season, but they are also the most physically fit and mentally trained individuals in regards to the aspects of outdoor survival. They have fire axes, and should be basically equiped with flashlights, and the overall crew numbers should provide enough psychological support. But with all men, it comes down to wits, it's our individual limitations which make us vulnerable. I would just hope that logical thought prevails, I know plenty about variable circumstance and proximital stimuli. But the least threatening reaction will provide the best results, violence only begets violence! I'm not trying to get down on the hunters and gun toters, but they shouldn't be walking around at night heavily armed, one might think them to be poachers... Just my spew sense werf, doesn't cover all scenarios, and everyone has their basic philosphies in regards to personal protection. Take it easy and talk to you all later.
