The night dosen't belong to strange creatures or spirits, the only thing different is that it is dark and nocturnal animals are about feeding. The Cree didn't have the patent on these stories. Most cultures tell them to scare their children into staying close to home during the dark hours to avoid getting lost or captured. Comparing legends and fiction to bigfoot only makes it more unbelievable that the animal exists in my opinion. I respect aboriginal customs and folklore but most of it is not science. My culture is also full of folklore but I don't call the world flat!
