A few week's back there was a big roar from Waynesboro PA about track's being found near a reservour. I went up there myself to look around. I only found one track that could be made out. The rest were stepped on or wore down by the weather. 5 toe's is what I could see. I seen picture's of other print's from the same place and they all "seemed" to have 5 also. My thank's to Eric Altman and the PBS for sharing.
Yet, the local paper's have dubbed them a hoax. As far as I'm concerned, it's still questionable. The BFRO and the PBS had researcher's there. I can only guess that the PBS is still open to debate of it being hoax or real. As for the BFRO, I haven't read or heard of any actual thought's. Their photo's have not been for the public eye to see.
Yet from what I saw with my own eye's, it looked like 5 toe's in this case. Just so you know, "if" these were no hoax, I can say this was my first print I had ever witnessed with my own eye's. Though there are a handful of people who say they were man made, let them. You can only get so much from a picture and\or a casting. There doesn't seem to have been any activity in the area not long after the track's were found. But, during the 1-2 week's just after they were found, I followed up on some advice from a friend and did some hiking. Best way to discribe it, don't look in area's where something has "already been", but where something may be afterward's.
