bigfoot fingerprints

by Jim Zenor

I have been researching new methods of fingerprinting to find out if it would be possible to collect fingerprints of a bigfoot. Some may poo poo the idea and say if we got a film and no one believes it, they will not believe a fingerprint either. Bigfoot don’t wash their hands and probably have an abundance of oils on their fingers. Fingerprints have been used to put people to death and are given great credibility in some legal circles. Will it be enough to convince some scientist? No, but the accumulation of evidence may one day be enough to prove bigfoot even without a body, IMHO. A normal bigfoot fingerprint would probably fall way outside the range in size of normal human prints.
Where could bigfoot fingerprints be found? I have heard many stories of bigfoot throwing sticks and rocks. I have heard of them picking up and throwing things, and of breaking cameras. I have heard of people who thought they found their nests. I have seen suspicious broken trees. With recently developed techniques, fingerprints can be taken from some surprising surfaces including porous surfaces including wood and paper. Superglue can be used to find latent fingerprints even after a few weeks because the superglue, when heated to a vapor, will adhere to the amino acids in the invisible print. Powder can then be used to lift the print. There are also some other techniques involving other chemicals and florescent powders. My main point is that next time anyone is out bigfooting and they run across something they think a bigfoot might have thrown or touched, it might turn out to be an important piece of evidence. It might be a good idea to put it in a plastic bag and try to get it checked. I have located a fingerprinting kit and plan to experiment with sticks and stones to see if I can get reasonable prints from them. It may be a while but I will report my finding, success or failure, if anyone is curious.
