My report.

Thermal,
I don't have any troubles with your questions, thankyou for asking them!

The encounter took place at Hall creek in August of 1992 and lasted for nearly three weeks. The entire report was provided to Mr. John Green in B.C. Canada. He in turn put me in touch with the late Griver Krantz at WSU, Pullman Wa. who sent a field investigator named Greg May to look into the incident.

The animals were everpresent both at night and during daylight hours, but kept thier distance by day. They were much bolder at night and showed no concern with entering our camp under the cloak of darkness. The bears in the area are what we went to see and spend time around, but when the Sasquatch came into the area, the bears cleared out and would not return.

There were three Sasquatch. The largest left 18 inch foot prints and a 5.5 to 6 foot stride. They clearly made attempts to limit leaving foot prints where they could be found and easily viewed. One of them which left 17 inch foot prints, showed indications of an injured left leg, as it's stride was 3.5 to 4 feet and the left foot left drag marks between steps. The left foot also appeared to be deformed, but I have no way of knowing that. The third set of tracks were 17.5 inches in length and left a stride of 4 to five feet.

There are many aspects of behavior that these animals displayed during this encounter. At the time, I was more interested in trying to set them up for getting a look at them than anything else, so did not pressure them at night or during the day, but rather went along my routine of enjoying the woods in persuit of the reason that I was there.

On one occasion, the three of them made an attempt to converge on a position that we took up over-looking a marsh where we were waiting for bears to show themselves, as they were in there foraging. The Sasquatch decided to sneak up on us from three separate directions, and simultaneously closed to within 25 yards in brush thick enough to prevent us from seeing them, but not from clearly hearing thier apporach! I decided that they were too close for comfort and used a .22lr pistol to fire "warning" shots over each one's position to indicate that they were too close and should stop! That worked, thank God, and we carfully made our way back down out of there and to the main road, un molested. While walking back to camp, we discovered the three sets of tracks described above, and also observed a 5 foot long stick that clearly displayed a huge partial hand print indicating that one of them had been carrying it and possibly using it for digging and poking around in sand and dirt as the small end of this stick was worn and covered with some amount of dirt and sand. The tracks were clearly visible for twenty yards along the dirt road, and were to be the only such display of tracks we would find in like manner.

We were constantly paralled and shadowed by these animals on every walk and hike we took. Nightly visits to our camp were routine. On one such visit, one of them took a container of worms and the top from a vegatable can lid that I had failed to discard properly. The next day, I located both items some 400 yards north of camp along the road. The worm container was in perfect condition, no tooth or claw marks of any kind, and the worms were gone, the worm bedding remained. The lid showed two toth impressions that indicate a very large jaw and that it had curled its lower lip over the lower teeth before biting it as only the top teeth had left an impresion.

We heard numerous of thier screams, or yells as I prefer to call them, some at great distance away, and several very close and very loud! When you hear them, you get the impression of great size by the animal making them as they as very loud and go on for many seconds. No human could mimick thier yells, just too small to do it!

I will post more on this later if anyone is intersted, our final day at Hall creek was a most "interesting" one! But for now, I have some other things to do that I cannot forstall any longer this day.
