Actually, I too read that book "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse." In fact, Leonard Peltier is my third cousin. That was a great book, and I'm glad you posted it. Although I really like Peter Matthieson, he was wrong about the actual translation of Rugaru. I know this for a fact because I AM, a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. I'm sorry that the name "Wicked Cannibal Giant" is such an ugly name, and puts our gentle Bigfoot in such a negative light but the facts still remain... The word "Windigo" literally translated does in fact mean "Wicked Cannibal Giant." Take care friend.
