No Mike, nobody at the conference discussed scat in any detail. Some info on baits but nothing new. I went home and filled a little sterile sample cup with 91% rubbing alcohol and a few untouched Q-tips, then practised turning a new plastic glove inside out for "uncontaminated" DNA sampling. With that little setup, I was staring harder last Sunday at each pile of scat that I found, but coyote and bear was all.
