Casting impressions in standing water...

by

Continuing my last post using the same book reference, to cast an impression in standing water:

Skip the steps involving spraying with Snow Print Wax (of course) and as before using dental stone:

1. sift dental stone that has not been mixed with water directly into the impression to a depth of about 1-inch...
2. add enough mixed dental stone to form a second 1-inch layer...
3. allow cast to set in place for at least 1 to 2 hours....
4. Then follow drying/cleaning techniques as stated in last post....

All that I have said in these two post can be on chapter 4, pages 83-85 of the previously mentioned book.
