The absense raises suspicions!

I find it interesting that I have not been the only private researcher that has taken notice of the obvious lack of sighting reports on BFRO. I am of the opinion that this "lack" is by design!

First of all, I find it difficult to reason that such an organization would spend all of the time and money to get such a site "up and running", then just let it dwindle in quantity and quality over a period of years, especially when they give the impression of being so successful.

Second is the obvious solicitation for funding in one way or the other! Not that they don't have a right to solicite financial contrubution, but it appears that the quality and quantity of reports may be aimed more at generating funds than educating fellow researchers or informing the public.

It makes no sense that such an organization could not find "anyone" qualified to enter reports on a regular basis and keep the site up-dated. Perhaps they are victim of thier own poor planning or they are headed by persons with questionable competency.

The apparent lack of information regarding what appears to have become thier own regional "hot-spot" lends to my over-all suspicion. However, my opinion is put forth as an optional conclusion and not intended to cast a bad light on BFRO or any other solicitation based organization in the field of Sasquatch research.

I find it interesting too, that they have come to the conclusion that anyone attempting to shoot down a Sasquatch will be attacked and presumably killed by it's "family" members! Or that these animals will not be so readily killed with firearms as some would believe! I read such things and conclude that there is a hidden reason for such anecdotal advice, after-all! If someone brings in a type specimen tomorrow by way of shooting one with a rifle, BFRO is pretty much out of business, and there will be as big a hole in many of thier theories as there would be in the Sasquatch!

I realize that my opinion may generate a certain amount of resistence and perhaps there will be some who take offense at it. I try to view things from an objective and open minded position that considers all possibilities. My thoughts are put forth in good faith that they be considered objectively, as we must have a "watch-dog" mentality in order to preserve the integrity of this entire investigation regardless of who, what or why various organisations, individuals submit information!
