For myself, the definition

by Kisal

of "art" is artificial decoration created purely for aesthetic reasons. The various examples of cave art and pictographs fit this definition because, imho, they were created to please the various "gods" or "spirits" recognized by the artists, in the hope of gaining their aid or good-will--in hunting or magic, for instance. Although bigfoot shows a great deal of creativity in, as you mentioned, camoflage, that, to me, is purely a survival effort.
