If I were you...

I'd readvertise every 3-4 days up until the deadline. I'm sure you'll get at least one taker. What you're about to do has been a dream of mine since I was a child (I'm going to hit 40 far too soon). My trouble was, I'd get ridiculed by friends and aquaintences if I ever mentioned the subject. Well, that, coupled with growing up on the OK-KS border (although there have been four separate published sightings within a 20 mi radius of my home between 1915-75). I think of all those wasted weekends and free time with much regret, wanting to do exactly what you're about to. I'm one of the very few who thinks it IS possible (if extremely unlikely) to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that BF exists by video. If one of the tiny percentage of people who see the creature running at the fantastic speed it's supposedly capable of were to luck out and record it, AND it could be proven it was not a computer-generated image, I think there would be some money devoted to a long-term scientific study for once (with due respect to Byrne). I'm kind of like the skeptical fellow on one of the recent BF documentaries who says "If they are there, I wish we'd leave 'em alone. Not put 'em in zoos, museums, and jars", or something to that effect. I wish we'd find a skeleton, a giant hairy hand or foot, or footage akin to the aforementioned and THEN leave 'em alone. If we found an entire carcass, especially a live one, the big mystery would cease and I'd be a little sadder. You know, this ol' internet thing ain't entirely bad! I, too, live for the day when hardcore skeptics will have the tables turned. Who knows, you've got a better opportunity than most to pick that winning lottery no. I'd like to thank you for trying.
