pretty deep into the wilderness (my kind of camping!).I doubt you'll want to pack water in with you, unless there isn't any where you're going. May I suggest you take some paper coffee filters and a holder for them (I used the one from my Melita drip coffeemaker, as it's plastic and lightweight) along to filter the bugs and debris out of the local water before you purify it? I found them to work great, and they weigh next to nothing in your pack.
