Freeman

Paul Freeman, interesting character... I know some things about him... he tried to sell Peter Byrne a load of fake tracks and photos and film back in the 70's, and in the 90's he tried again. Dr. Meldrum bought the track casts finally, and if you ask him about them, well, ask him, see what he thinks about them? Yet, he gave Dr. Fahrenbach 15 purported hair samples in the 90's, and at least one of them turned out to be genuine after examination under the electron microscope, go figure? A hoaxer with genuine BF hair, who eventually gave it away for no money. odd?

Before he died, he told me, "If you ever do run into bigfoot, you're in for a shock." and the way he said it, well, it just sounded like he had been there, he had a funny tone in his voice. Besides, his pal Wes Sumerlin was on the level, and Wes went with him a lot looking here and there. Paul's main problem was that he was a hoaxer and he also was not a hoaxer, the boy who cried wolf comes to mind.

Also, his area of main focus, the Mill Creek Drainage basin, has the usual long term BF history of a populated (ahem) area, Wild Woman Spring just south near Tollgate Oregon comes to mind.
