The film in question is one that was produced in the early 90s, by Freeman. Grover Krantz and Greg Mays both had opportunity to observe the footage and Krantz immediately labled it as a fake. I believe that I have a short section of this film that was recorded from a television show that discussed and featured Paul Freeman's account in making it. I'm no anthropologist, but I can tell you that none of what I saw even remotely appeared as the real thing.
The fact that Freeman became labled a Hoaxer, has more to do with the man's zeal than with questions concerning his honesty. He simply went about things the wrong way, and his credibility was destroyed as a result. It's unfortunate too, because the Mill creek drainage had been a hot spot long before Freeman came along and cast a shadow of suspicion over it as a "hot spot for hoaxing". The area may still hold active secrets for a dedicated investigater to discover!
