Well Jesse,as I remember it ,the SNW crew was in camp when all of a sudden we hear this loud banging sound, like someone hitting the side of a garbage can ,or something metal,up where we parked the rigs. The dog we had in camp,(Daisy our SNW mascot at the time)started going nuts barking, and took off towards the cars, with the whole SNW crew close behind. We didn't find anything, but we did discover that we could make that same sound by slapping the side of Adrian's truck. Not knowing what, or who, made the sounds we all hiked back to camp. That's when Mike, and Jesse, and I, decided to go for a hike, and look for another member of our party,Wulff who was out by himself, and hadn't returned to camp yet. The 3 of us hadn't made it out of camp very far, when we hear these foot steps in the timber to our left, getting louder with each step! Whatever it was,had to be very "BIG",sounded like it was walking on 2 feet, and coming right at us, at a very fast pace! The sound of the last couple of footsteps were so loud you could feel them in your chest! I thought we were going to be run over at any minute, but we couldn't see anything, that was the frustrating part!It was like a "bluff charge" and since we held our ground,it didn't go any further, and I'm glad of that! This thing sounded very "BIG" and it had the advantage over us in the dark! Sorry this is so long, but it's time we quit fighting amongst ourselves and get down to the business at hand, that being our interest in our hairy friends the Sasquatch. Take Care! Grizz SNW
