The Skookums cast a hoax? As in a "manufactured" artifact? Given the number of people who would have to have been involved, the difficult logistics and the inherent improbability that folks would go to so much trouble to put together what in the end is a relatively ambiguous piece of evidence, the probability of a "hoax" is vanishingly small. A "seasoned investigator" ought to have enough common sense to direct his efforts to some project with a better chance of hitting paydirt.
I'm all for the truth - it will set you free. But reasonable people don't run around charging other folks with possible dishonesty unless they have some evidence. So what evidence to you possess that makes this "hoax" charge even remotely plausible?
And with all due respect, sir, your manner of presenting yourself does lend itself to a conclusion that you are rather pompous and full of yourself. This goes a long way toward explaining some of the inhospitable reaction you seem to be provoking.
