Is this something we should be worrying about.These scratch marks were placed in such a way that we would find them right on the tire marks on the ground.It had no finger nails to it.The thumb looked like it was curlded into the hand the fingers looked pretty good but had no nails to it.I do not know animal behavior but we all thought it was odd.One of them also said that John Green had writen about these markings in one of his books.I am asking cause you guys have made me nervous,and I realy do not want to be in those woods by myself.Weapons or no weapons if it happens that we may be attacked I will shoot to kill no matter what.But I did not get that feeling from them.It was more a feeling of that they just wanted to know what we were about.They had all the chance in the world to attack us but they didn,t,maybe it was the howling we were doing that made them think we were another big foot and were moving into their terrotory.We will never know but my brain is really thinking now.On another note I still been having dreams of that night we had the encounters.Ptsd I call it and my wife says that I was moaning and kicking my feet alot when I slept.The dreams I have have been that the creatures were charging at me.I do not want to loose it yet I need more info on people who have had thier own encounter on a normal basis.Like I said before we plan on camping out there again and I do not want to be out there with my pistol in hand shooting at everything that moves.Its not safe.those markings have me thinking and I want to find out what they mean.I will try the apples and some other fruit to see what they will like the most.

thanks for the advice and I will do what you said.this place is still active and it does not look like the creatures have left yet.
