That was one of the problems that the late Dr. Krantz had...getting affordable, reliable access to helicopter flights. Police and military helicopters are already outfitted with thermal units, but they won't fly on wild Bigfoot hunts. Private pilots will take up passengers who are willing to put up the green stuff $$$ to cover flight time/cost. I understand that the Bigfoot Research Project did some night thermal runs with their helicopters, though I don't think they got too much other than elk.
