My dearest friend, who is much more computer savvy than I (not that it takes much to get to that point), tried to walk me through reloading the drivers, to no avail. I haven't been able to locate a restore disk and don't remember ever seeing one in the first place, so I'm not sure where to go from here. I'd hate to take it someplace to find out that it was something ridiculously simple, but it does drive me nuts not having sound, so I may have to do that. Actually, I just might go back in and try to reload the drivers again and see what happens...couldn't hurt! Thanks Jim!
