After you click "Driver" click on "Update Driver"
...Then click "Next"...then select the bullet titled:

"Display a list of all the drivers in a specfic location, so you can select the driver you want"

Once again find and highlight "Sound, Video and game controlers"

Then click "Next" for the following three times it comes up and if all goes well the last thing to click will be "Finish" and your sound should be back.

Told it got kinda complex.......LOL

If that does not work, click on the little yellow speaker in the bottom right hand toolbar and make sure your sound is activated...In fact...do this first....LOL
