What serious enviornmental problem could a BF possibly cause? Also, baiting with a sex deterrant? How do you control what animals would eat the bait? Also I think it would be cruel to do so. The reason loggers don't acknowledge their existance is because if the forrests become protected, the loggers go broke.
Also, I would be interested in reading the book regarding the faking of dermal ridges. It seems to me that a hoaxed set of dermal ridges would be easy for an expert to spot as a fake. I do agree however that fish and game agencies in certain areas are well aware of the existance of BF. In fact I read a few tyears ago of a ranger field manual with a chapter devoted to BF.
