I have friend who is in genetic counseling and she has counseled women who got pregnant THE OLD FASHIONED WAY at 57. Baby was fine. Aside from the fact that, it does indeed happen IN NATURE sometimes. She may not have meant it in a bad way at all. I had my baby at 46. Bottom line, pregnancy is not a walk in the park. Yet at 46 I still totally loved being pregnant and plan to again. REMEMBER THIS: it is not chronological age you should be focusing on. It's your health. and bottom line. Your body said "hey, I'm okay to be pregnant!"
Depression is part of it as far as I am concerned. Hormones are wacked. Don't worry. Your mantra "I accept my moods as they are" you are TOTALLY not too old to have a baby.
