I got a call from the pharmacy that my request was being denied by insurance, because of the amount I am on (2.5cc's per day). I have spent over an hour talking to the insurance and pharmacy trying to get at least one bottle to go through, till the appeals office opens on Monday. I have had no luck. I told them that the medication was crucial to the survival of my twins. I am the type that requires a lot of progesterone and once off PIO, I go on 17 alphahydroxyprogesterone caproate for the remainder of the PG. I have been on freegaragsale and still no success. I am also on Prometrium 200mg/2x per day, so I can probably do it 5 or 6 times per day. Holy Moly, this is stressing me out. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. I am in Central California.
