however in my small town where we only have a few OB-GYN's I doubt very much that even if I were to score a 10 or more I'd see a specialist. We have G.P.'s for all our medical needs and they screen and only will refer if there are immediate problems. I'm always so amazed at the difference in health care from my country (Canada) and the States. So many of my board buds see an OB-GYN when they are pg and their babies have peds for their Dr.'s...our G.P.'s do it all. But then we have a very socialist health care system as well.
Still I'm really glad to read that my risk factor is only a 5....when my current G.P. read that I was on heparin for a blood clotting disorder he "thought" I may want to see a OB-GYN but then I reminded him that I've had 5 children before and never knew about testing positive for Factor V Leiden until our DE cycle. If anything it means I clot really well and isn't that what you want when you are delivering?
Anyway, thanks for sharing the high risk chart. You're so great!
