I haven't taken a Disney Cruise, but did take a Carnival Cruise to Freeport/Nassau several years ago. I wish I could say more positive things about it, but I wasn't very impressed with either port.
Freeport dock is a good distance from the beach - we had to take a taxi - what I like to refer to as the taxi of death! He ran 2 cars off the road as he passed in between them on a 2 lane road! The beach was fine but we were constantly haggled by peddlers.
Nassua was much the same - kind of dirty and very touristy. I do know several people who love both places so hopefully mine was an isolated experience.
