i am trying to put on alot of muscle before the season. Last year i wrestled 152 and this year my coach wants me to go 171. I weigh about 163. I did very well at 152 last season but i dont think i am strong enough for 171. What is a good supplement to take to put on muscle and get stronger.

I have heard about adenergy, no Xplode, creatine, creatine serum, ripped fuel, etc. but i dont know if they are safe and if they will actually help.

Thanks,
Shawn

just up your calories and eat a lot, no need for supplements besides multi-vitamins. and lift weights if you already aren't.

If you’re looking to get stronger and bigger I would start with a good diet and a workout program that is designed to get you the results you’re looking for.

Creatine will make you look bigger but most of that is water weight that will not benefit you at all on the mat. You can start off with a good multi-vitamin and a good protein. Also if you’re looking for growth, Ripped Fuel is not the best choice as it’s a fat burner.

What is your workout routine at this time? Give me an idea of what it is your doing and maybe we can tweak it in a way to help you get some of the gains you’re looking for.

Mike

I have experimented with creatine and it gave me very beneficial results. I went from benching 175 pounds to 215 pounds in no time. My bench was going up 5 pounds a week. Then I stopped taking creatine and it took me over a month to get from 215 pounds to 220. That is just one example, I also excelled in every other muscle group I worked on. It makes you look bigger but it also makes you stronger, at least it made me stronger. If you take protein, creatine, and glutamine, while consistently sticking to a good workout routine you should be able to gain muscle, strength, and endurance. Creatine also helps endurance, many long distance runners, etc take it.

I agree with you on the strength side but the question was about putting on muscle, I didnt notice a great size change other than from the water.
