I'm trying to gain about 3 kgs(6.6lbs) in about two months, but i dont want it to be fat that i will just lose as soon as wrestling season starts. whats the best way to do gain weight? My dad suggested that I work out my legs alot with high weight and low reps that i should gain weight fast, do you think that will work?

If you’re looking to gain some muscle prior to the season, look at your diet (protein, Carbs, Fat) and your workout. Yes adding heavier weights and lower reps will help to build muscles if used in a good program but if your diet is not one that will support muscle growth then its all in waste.

For your workout you want to have the total package, what I mean is if you’re only lifting heavy on your legs then your upper body will fall behind. Try to put on size all over (chest, back, legs, arms) don’t leave any muscles unturned.

Again make sure you have a good diet in place that will support muscle growth.
