I was wondering what lifting supplement would be good for wrestlers? Right now I weigh about 151, through lifting I want to get up to about 160 and then cut back down to wrestle 152. What supplement would I see good results with but not gain massive amounts of weight (10+ pounds). How do you feel about "Cell Tech", "Whey Protein", "etc." I know a little about some of these supplements but please give me you opinion, your knowledge, and anything else you would like to share on this issue. Thankyou!

I take a good multi vitamin 3 times a day; I do this because it’s proven that if you take a vitamin in the morning that you will “Flush” it out of your system in a few hours. Taking it 3 times it keeps my levels at their peak so I can perform better. I take a Whey protein 3 times a day and glutamine after every workout and prior to bed.
On the morning of wrestling I eat a chicken bagel sandwich, peanut butter and honey sandwich, and pure honey and water prior to each match.
For working out, I like a good protein, as you know when you workout your muscles break down due to being damaged (both good and bad). Protein / amino acids are what build your muscles back up so by supplying your body with the proper amount of protein you can gain size and keep your muscles and organs functioning at top levels. Many people forget that when we diet our bodies will actually eat itself if we don’t provide it with the proper nutrition.
Now for things that I would stay away from. Cell Tech, not a big fan. I have taken it and found it will load your muscles up with water and when you come off it you will find that your gains were just water being pumped into your muscles. It also has caused many people to dehydrate which is not what we want. The biggest thing that I would do is get a good workout plan that will have you peaking (weight) right at the time the season about to begin this way when you start wrestling you can burn off the excess fat in the 4 weeks prior to the first big meet.
If you think about it you’re looking to put on 9lbs prior to the season then cut it back off so what muscle you put on you will need to cut the fat. Put on some good quality muscle and the fat will burn during this process.
I’m not a big supplement taker so I’m sorry if this isn’t the answer you were looking for.
