NJ DUALS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS...

PLEASE NOTE NEXT YEAR THIS WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 13, 2005....IT WILL BE A 16 TEAM TOURNAMENT...

Team Tournament Of Champions....to be held this Saturday AUGUST 28TH at Holmdel HS in Holmdel ..wrestling Starts at 9 AM... 4 Teams from out of state and 8 NJ Teams...

Maryland "Gold" Team has a Roster with 2 State Champs and 7 State Place winners and qualifiers...

Maryland "Silver" squad has 8 State place winners and qualifiers...

Central Virginia Roster has 2 Region Champs, 5 Region Medalists and 8 District Champs coming...

NYC All-Stars roster has a NY State Freestyle and Greco Champ, 5 empire State Medalists, 3 NYC Catholic League Champs and 2 NYC Public School Champs...

NJ Squads are loaded with Region and State Level competition ...Somersets #1 team Bound Brook is led by State Champ Andrew Flanagan...Ocean County and the Shore Conference Preseason #1 Southern Regional with 6 State Qualifiers including "Murderer's Row" Molinaro, Quinn, Hickman, and Lanno...Defending CJGII Champs and a Top Monmouth County Team Raritan led by Region Runner-up Sean Putnam and a gang of Region level "bruisers"....a full, young, untested and underrated Group 4 Howell Squad who will have to be reckoned with....and a countering similar squad from South Jersey's young St. Augustine's Prep Team having 8 Region tested wrestlers led by Rick Hyson and Joe Henshaw...3 other squads finalizing their rosters are the Seagull Wrestling Club with Hank Stinson at 105 and Chris Notte from Holy Cross up at 130..while their Central Jersey counter partner the ShoreThing Wrestling Club out of Brick,NJ with a contingent of Group 4 Power Jackson HS along with several Shore Conference State caliber wrestlers teaming up and finally, and some peoples #1 Preseason NJ State pick, the Fighting Irish of CC...

All this in one gym on 4 mats..6 rounds to determine and showcase NJ State caliber wrestling in August....for Fan entertainment and enjoyment purposes only, and for wrestlers the only thing on the line is State and Area PRIDE!....no coaching strategy, no ducking, bumping, avoiding....straight up high caliber wrestling...open, fast and furious....MAT TIME Saturday!...Catch it!
