This is a question that runs through my mind every day, at the moment i get off school at 1:00 and go staight to lifting until 2:00, then i go on a run til 2:40'ish and then lift til 4:30-5 , now throughout this time im lifting pretty hard getting a good swear throughout my whole lift, im 5'1 and 108 lb's i gained 18 lb's from last year, and i wanna wrestle 3's this year and 3's or 12's next year, sophomore and im questioning whether this much lifting will stunt my growth or not. The workout im doing is chest back triceps and biceps legs shoulders alternating daily, except for sat and sunday. Now, the question is our coach is doing a 6:30 workout, we will only lift one to two days a week but im wondering whether or not i should just go on a run or lift, any advice, but the big question is growth stunting.
appreciate it.

Lifting weights will not stunt your growth... But i would be warry of over training in your case. You are lifting 2 times a day pre season and being in high school you need to get your studies done first... Now im not trying to sound like a parent but school is important. Back to lifting, with the season in 2 months you need to look at training less but training the entire body during your workouts. You do this by doing combo exercises like the barbell complex that i have listed on the training center. This type of workout is done as one large set, you do everything one right after the other that rest for a short period and do it again till you get your sets in.
If you have real player on your computer listen to the interview i did with Istvan Javorek about the complex and how he uses them for wrestlers,
Hope this helps,
Mike
