What is it about winning that drives us wrestlers so hard? you hear wrestlers talk about how much 2nd place sucks and its all or nothing.

I know for me it wasnt about the medals, it was being at the top with everyone knowing that on that day I was the best and no one could take it away from me. And now as a adult its still the same after winning a tounament, I could careless about the medal but being on top is the best feeling in the world.

I would like to hear from all of you about why you enjoy winning so much

i wanna win to show that i was the best at soemthing and so that i can hear good job form coaches parenst and friends

i wanna win to prove something to nobody but to myself, to show myself that i could do it and that what i run,lift,wrestle, and all those hours i spend become worthwhile, i wrestle for me,myself,and i. I don't know why some people wrestle for their coach,paerent, or anyone else it's all about you and only you, dont wrestle for anyone but yourself you have nothing to prove remember winning always for you. (this is talking about individual matches..) dual meets are diferent and of course u win by urself but u lose as a team.

I love it because you no that no one can beat you for that day and that you no u are the best for that day
